Hello! I'm Helen. I have 35 years experience of working with children and young people, formerly as a teacher and now as a psychotherapeutic counsellor.
My training is specifically to work with children and teens so you can be sure that your child is in safe hands.
I use a humanistic integrative approach in my work with children and young people. This places great importance on the relationship between therapist and child. In my work I am totally child centred, meeting the needs of the individual child at their particular stage of development. I build strong, positive relationships with each child enabling them to explore their feelings and process trauma in a safe way.

I incorporate many types of activity into my sessions including talking therapy, play therapy and art therapy. I encourage creative activities as a means of helping your child to express themselves.

My fee is £45 per session.
I am fully registered with UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).
